Is Limited Government An Oxymoron?
I used to be a libertarian – someone who believes in limited government. Since 9/11 I’ve had to change my mind, realising that government can’t be limited. Once unleashed, the animal known as “government” can only become more and more powerful and brutal, finally morphing into a full-blown tyrant.
In this 28 minute video – Doug Casey and Thomas Woods make a reasoned and logical case for anarchism – the belief that we don’t need government, that government is the universal problem and certainly not the solution.
Well worth the watch.

What you’re saying is essentially what Machiavelli said centuries back? I still Feel we can have something loosely called a government though, where constitutionally (read meaningfully?) we have the right not to partake of whatever we don’t understand and agree to and only those supporting a motion can act upon it and only upon themselves of themselves, Thereof? I understand where you might not want to call something like that a government. We don’t have to call it government! it being so fundamentally different from any “actual” government I’m aware of now, of that sense of government
That there would be “justice” for that state (of states?) of what matters most? I’m thinking, that, (I Feel) would involve putting the power and authority (of control, of self-control, of understanding?) of serving justice back in the hands of the people, as Individuals, Thereof, perhaps, of reason and conscience of communication, even, if not especially? (Of the individualism of individual understanding [that there could be any other kind? or of justice?] being the diametric opposite of the politics of confusion, otherwise?)
That doesn’t seem so much like rocket-science to me, what is and what should be, and of how to do as much? Where more people like you and I expose and reject our violators, of abuse, government, as of it being “fundamentally unconstitutional” [where it is, but where isn't it? to the truth of understanding more?] to the truth of understanding more for our selves, of agreement (democracy notwithstanding in that respect?) would not exist as it stands, and it doesn’t “represent me,” as far as I’m concerned, and say, as by myself, of representing myself by as much, where that is all that is and “must” be necessary, for as much, as I Feel government otherwise, as we have it perhaps, (by-and-large) is fundamentally an “abusive” force, otherwise (confusing of conditioning if not conquering by dividing, if not necessarily always by surprise) that I am “energized” (motivated!) to overcome, where power and authority is anathema to reason and conscience, (and God? Thereof? Hello) of understanding more, as of the individual and “individualism” Thereof; what I consider the “true” alternative to politics and government, certainly government as we have it and know it, I’d say.
Keep up the good work in that respect of “self-government,” perhaps? self-government (as best as I can be of as much?) in a world of wild (as abusive) if not “crazy” things, (of entertaining and confusing things? where people seem more interested in being “entertained,” and for the price that costs them? and of perhaps how we can approach and deal with that problem where we would truly want to?) no doubt, no doubt to me, “otherwise,” of being the state “I” am.. .

They (governments? of politics?) do say we have to “watch” what we say (and how to say it?) to fit in, to fit into (benefit from?) this world but I don’t buy that, in watching what I “Feel,” of my “Individuality,” Thereof! where Understanding is The thing?!. (But what else?) I get what I need and get rid of the BS by as much, I Feel as understand.
Government is for those who want it if not deserve it, of getting the government we deserve? (So they say?) where “Justice” is especially The thing (with me) and I serve as much, Thereof! I didn’t mean to be “poetic” about It, but it did come out somewhat that way, I Feel as understand.. .
Where have all the Individuals, of Communication, of Understanding More, of the more meaningful behavior, gone? (Class? To normal or English class, but not understanding class? of *really* understanding class?) I guess that would just leave me, not so much of abuse, in that respect, I Feel as understand.. .
“That” would be telling It like it is David, where justness begins at home, and within.. . where It begins at All, I Feel as Understand.. .
