Speaking With Forked Tongue
Why anybody bothers to listen to, or even less believe, the utterances of politicians is beyond me. Has it not occurred to nearly everyone with half a brain that these humanoids are a breed apart?
Take Obama – the candidate of “change”. Man did he whip up some hysteria pre-election. And now that he’s in the driving seat, what do we get? More of the same old same old – dressed up in more potent rhetoric.
Take Brown, the one-eyed Scotsman (a term borrowed from Jeremy Clarkson!) who leads the UK. Can a leader such as he be any less inspiring – or worse, any more incompetent?
Then there’s the global pronouncements. The “moral” tone and indignation. Oh, the hypocrisy of this gang of thugs!
Take the big “issue” looming on the horizon – the talks between the Security Council members and Iran, regarding its supposed nuclear weapons programme. What we have here is a classic stacking of the decks prior to any negotiations.
Take the primary accusation – that Iran is bent on developing nuclear weapons. The fact is, they are members of the IAEA – and allow inspections (something Israel does not do). They assert their nuclear programme is for peaceful purposes only.
However, the western leaders keep on repeating the mantra that Iran is actually, covertly seeking to create a nuclear weapon (even though their own intelligence agencies admit to having found no proof of such). That doesn’t matter though, simply repeat a statement often enough and people will start to believe it.
The issue though is this: the upcoming negotiations are charged with an impossible task – to put pressure on the Iranians to prove their nuclear fuel cycle development is not to create weapons but for peaceful purposes only.
My question is this: How will Iran prove a negative – that it is not secretly building a nuclear bomb? How will it prove, to the demonising western powers, that it is not doing what they accuse it of?
Short answer is they will not be able to prove it. Sure they can allow inspectors in. They can agree to more intrusive inspections. They can comply with all legal requirements. They can have their scientists meet “our” scientists. But at the end of the day – and at the end of the negotiations – the PTB (powers that be) will still declare they are unconvinced.
At that stage they will announce the negotiations have failed, and that Iran is in violation, paving the way for the next round in the “charade” – a charade designed to create the impression that the PTP have done all in their power to reach a diplomatic solution. But now that has failed – more serious economic and even military options must be considered.
These negotiations are a farce, and simply a prelude for putting into place the obviously Israeli-inspired policy of an eventual attack on, or degradation of, Iran. Why? Because Israel will not countenance the rise of any fiercely independent (independent of US and Israeli pressure) nation in the “neighbourhood”.
It’s as simple as that.

David,
Usually I am in agreement with much of your stuff, but this is over the line. What about the fact that this jerk in Iran has repeatedly said he is going to wipe Israel off the map? What about the fact that they adhere to a very twisted hardcore line of Islam that is incorrect? What about the fact that they preach violence and kill free thought, fake elections and murder gay and lisbians, and basically want woman to remain uneducated?
Also, the current ruling Mullahs believe that a 12th Imam needs to come and rule the world under strict Shia law and the only way to do this is to foirce it through massive bloodshed and escalating the whole continent and perhaps world into a smoldering nuclear furnace!
What the hell are you thinking man?
Hi David,
I am very pleased to see that you are your own man.
Iran is a Sovereign nation and has the reveal only what it has to disclose under signed treaties. Otherwise everything is their own business.
As far as the people who are demonizing Iran as Germany was, may I ask how much they knew about Iran before the axis of terror was mentioned. Can they tell me 4 Countries that border Iran without looking at a map first?
Yours in freedom.
Adrianus.
I think the first thing to get straight is that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad never actually said he wanted to “wipe Israel off the map”. That is simply a propaganda ploy repeated endlessly by the western media.
The translation of what was originally said in Farsi is erroneous – as Juan Cole pointed out. (The below is quoted from Wiki):
According to Juan Cole, a University of Michigan Professor of Modern Middle East and South Asian History, Ahmadinejad’s statement should be translated as:
The Imam said that this regime occupying Jerusalem (een rezhim-e eshghalgar-e qods) must [vanish from] the page of time (bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad).
The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) translates the phrase similarly, as “be eliminated from the pages of history.”
According to Cole, “Ahmadinejad did not say he was going to ‘wipe Israel off the map’ because no such idiom exists in Persian”. Instead, “He did say he hoped its regime, i.e., a Jewish-Zionist state occupying Jerusalem, would collapse.”
So a mistranslation has been used to inflame a situation that does not exist. Yes, Iran would very much like to see the Zionist system in Israel collapse – but has no intention of starting a war with Israel. The truth is very much the other way around – that Israel is constantly talking of starting a preemptive war against Iran.
I take the original statement to be akin to Americans, in the Cold War, saying that they’d very much like the Communist system to collapse – which it did!
As to the inner workings of Iranian society, certainly there is much to ridicule and object to. I’m against all religious states – states that use the concept of a non-existent “god” to justify their existence and actions. Sadly, this religiosity is even present in the USA, and more so in Israel. Both countries are heavily influenced by fundamentalist thought (aka George Bush) and willingingly shape their utterances according to the perceived “will of God”. Or even worse – the “second coming of Christ”.
I believe that Iran will change in its own good time. I believe Iranians, as a people, are smarter than we give them credit for (as witnessed by their willingness to protest in the face of contested election results). I see no reason to demonise them in the context of a world which is bursting at the seams with “dangerous” leaders and idiotic systems of thought.
The truth is, Iran is a target precisely because Israel desires it to be so – and the USA is following along.
My suggestion to armchair critics, is to hop on a plane and visit Iran to meet the ordinary people. I’ve met some young Iranians. They were educated and they were aware of the rigid nature of their governing system. They were hopeful that things would change in the future, but they were also proud of their country and did not want another “revolution” or “war” to be used to bring about such change.
Re Davids statement,
Everyone apart from the do-gooders that is can see he is a do-gooder trying to get world opinion to blame Israel and take their attention off the Muslim’s while they take over the world.
Do-gooders always believe in peace in our time, if history was taught as a positive subject everyone apart from the do-gooders that is would know peace in our time is impossible.
The “Muslims are taking over the world!” mantra is baloney of course. In the same way Christianity, Judaism or Hinduism won’t take over the world either.
Islam (like orthodox Judaism or fundamentalist Christianity) is a rather primitive belief system – based, as it is, on following words written by somebody hundreds of years ago. It is not a religion of individual thought. And because of that, it is not a religion that (if practised in the fundamentalist sense) will ever amount to much in the way of progress and advancement. To advance, any society must throw off the chains of superstitious thinking. Islam has nothing to make it capable of taking over the world.
Why? Because to take over the world you need one or both of two “weapons” – either the military power to force global compliance, or the ability to convert everyone to Islam. Neither is realistic. To imagine that any western country, with a long cultural history, is going to suddenly start getting up before dawn for the morning prayer is silly.
Unfortunately, I don’t believe in “peace in our time”. What is see is “war and more war” in our time. But I know one thing for sure, no war has ever advanced the cause of freedom, rather it has nurtured the rise of totalitarianism. And don’t trot out the old myth that World War II was “good” war, necessary for freedom. I doubt the Poles, nor the millions enslaved by Communism as a result of it, would agree.
One does not have to be too old to remember similar rhetoric, leading to the demise of Saddam Hussein and the invasion of Iraq. What a costly war this has proved and is still proving!!
Was there an alternative? I believe this issue MUST go beyond the religious beliefs of the three main (politically speaking) world faiths – Islamic, Jewish and Christian. It also must rise up above the slave trading mentality that still exists in USA, and UK.
How many countries are in abject poverty? Start counting – stop when you get to 30. Then ask how many of these have had their political structure interfered with by the great USA?
Hand outs to these nations does nothing – only ending up in the hands of corrupt governments. Why not call a halt and use the arms $ and military personelle for human welfare – e.g. water (and if needed desalination plants etc), assistance with establishment of industries embracing agricultural, technical and other industries, as well as education etc. Or am I too idealistic? Oppression flourishes when its people are deprived of their basic human needs.
I dare not ponder the consequences if the ‘slave trader’ leaders of UK, USA continue with their Iranian machinations (- and take the little Aussie whippet along with them) ….
This may sound very much a doom and gloom response – but I can see little light on the horizon.
Where does all this discussion position the Illuminati?
One thing that Brown and Obama have in common is that their physical appearance reflects the economies of their respective countries – one flabby and one that looks as if it is suffering from cancer.
If you go into a history classroom in the UK guess what you see stuck up on the walls? Posters of kings and wars – no sign of the great achievers of the past.
As for the poor countries, and I can only speak for Africa, one needs to understand the negative effect of culture on the progress of people. In Africa their is something called “Ubuntu”. A culture of sharing – a collectivist scourge. In practice what it means is if I have to walk miles to fetch water and decide to save and buy a tank to save time, energy and reduce the possibility of disease – my neighbour doesn’t have to do a thing because I have to share (the result is the tank will run dry in no time, so why bother). Anyone that rises above the herd will be cut down. I could go on . . . It is no different to a mother giving all her savings to a drunken son.
People living in the first world, even in socialist countries, are culturally individualistic.
Iranian troops guided the US invasion of Afganistan. On a CIA promise to lift embargoes. Fact. The sanctions have nothing to do with nukes. If the west US, UK, EU are to lift sanctions, they will first have to repay the billions they impounded & paid for goods they never delivered. Billions of Iranian wealth stayed in western coffers, they want it back with interest. Mamoud Amadinejad as a student leader disaproved of the siege of the embassy. Every placard on tv after the Iran election was in English print.
BBC rent a mobs, filmed in london. Of Iranians 99% speak only Farsi. I assure you this is Tony Bliar lie “Iraq has nuclear weapon can reach UK in five minutes” after which a weapons inspector contested the statement public & died next day, and cremated in suspicious circumstaces. What you see on TV is entertainment, news is vetted closely the government is the new god, so bend over and kiss your butt goobye if you believe any parasitic politician, what you live in is a democery democracy is dead
Its all about deeded titles and land. After the second world war Nato decided
to make up a deed in the middle of the Desert and call it Israel and then
expanded and expanded all on illegal deeds and borders and do matter how people or countries that they may attack will not make the deed to
Israel legal. All they are is squatters on a fake deed.
Fake deeds are the norm and we in the West, America are all on
British Crown Deeded Titles. Known as the Commonwealth, Being taxed on fake deeds and leases by a trustee Administrative Bankruptcy Agency pretending to be a government. All
leases are signed by people or persons known or unknown playing monopoly with land that they never owned in the first placed. They are all on crown deeds claimed from the British Crown in May 2, 1990 and all the rest is illegal history and corruption. I call it fluff over fluff all mortgages on this land is fake and we have been at Constitutional level for the past 18 years. So the Bank bailout is all over fake deeds and leases never signed by the true Grantor or the title in the first place.
We have all being tricked into believing that the governments towns counties states and provinces own the land that they tax but they don’t. We the people do the Republic. Remember that no corporation can ever own land which includes all commercial and Administrative Agencies none can own crown land since the early 1600′s. The Republic is Sovereign. That’s true all over the World. Ask yourself to whom are all the taxes and rents going to when not one sovereign (Republic) have received any benefit thereof. Research your deed and follow the money. Crown land can never be auctioned off or resold without the Gran-tor’s Signature
PS, All attorneys to practice law are all members of the Bar Association.
that town county state province and country is a Franchise system world
wide owned by the British Crown and in order to be a member or the Bar
Association one must give up his or her citizenship to his respective country in exchange for nobility. In effect a traitor to his or her own country. So the Sovereign is really in the drivers seat if only realized. Us Administrative Notices to hold them in check through tacit procution. Make them produce
they deeds and leases with a fully insured title search to the original
title transfer. This is good all over the world.
David:
I find you service of instructing people how to live a sovereign life to be vary valuable and worthwhile paying heed to.
On the flip side I find much of you political/religious “opinions” not worth the time to read.
I will add that with your attack on organized religion I lost a huge amount of respect for you as a person and your opinions on subject other than finical.
Due to happenings in my life I do believe in Christ and our Lord!! I can never find words to convince those of you that do not, but I do believe.. To belittle those that do believe demeans your position on subjects at hand and you as a person.
You sent me an e-mail asking me to update you as to what e-mails I want from you. Well you can take me off of the list that list’s what you have written on this blog. I will not return to read them anymore. Not even you response to this posting!!!!! That is how little respect you have garnered from me with your attacks on organized religion and my belief that I came to through personal experience.
To Vinnie:
We’re doin’ just fine!
Who do you think is blowin all this smoke up your —?
The Pater
Amazing!some of the comments found here, are so devoid of common sense, and understanding its really pathetic!Americans are the dumbest
people on the planet, for real.Anyway,i want to ZERO in,on the commentary made by DAVID.You say JUDAISM/CHRISTIANITY,are some
of the most primitive systems, known to man.WHY is that?because the precepts of the bible go back to the beginning of time? What is the american constituition? this is the so-called foundation of the american society we know today.Yet it is a flawed, document that is twisted and turned, and used the way,the POWERS THAT BE WANT TO.the BIBLE IS used in the same way, only the difference is that most of bible prophecy,
has come to pass.the primitive bible”that you speak of,tells us that the
ROOT OF ALL EVIL,IS THE LOVE OF MONEY”this is just one verse, that
dramatizes what we see today,in america especially, but globally. Can you
refute that statement?
Dear David,
I am curious to why one of your respondents has taken the position of chastising you about your position on religion, when in fact I find no mention to anything religious about your comment in “speaking with forked tongue”. That said I wonder if he is aware of the fact that his own belief system has been involved in many atrocities during the time of its existence and that its “god” is a promoter of violence, rape and all manner of genocide. If he is not aware of his “gods” behavior, please have him review as many times as possible the contents of the OT. The evidence is there if anyone cares to know the real truth about all the religions especially christianity, judaism and islam. Christianity being nothing more but a bastadized version and continuation of judaism. I can only surmise that the reason judaism hates christianity is because its founder preached against the ways of judaism’s “high Priests” (pharisees). If one takes a very serious look at what they have been indoctrinated with in these religions they will see why the world is in the state it was and continues to be. I will concede that one can find some evidence of wisdom in all three but for the most part they are all garbage in their present condition. Your respondent, with all due respect, doesnt realize that these three major religions are responsible for creating the highest amount of psychopaths the world has ever known and allowed loose on this beautiful planet. To believe in a Creator who is responsible for all of creation, who represents unconditional LOVE and EQUALITY for all living things, allowing free WILL and CHOICE through and by the concept of unalienable rights is one thing but to follow some questionable belief system that advocates “my God is better than your God” or brainwashes its recipients into believing they are superior or “chosen” above all others is a completely different thing. Most of these delusional people dont truly understand who is behind these religions and why they are enforced in the manner we are experiencing throughout their existence. Religions are just a part of the controlling mechanism utilized by the PTB.
Wayne, of course you are free not to read my opinions. However, your own response hardly convinces me my opinions are wrong – rather it confirms to me the closed-mindedness of people of religious persuasion. I should say though, that I know exactly what you’re talking about, for as a younger man I was once serious “believer” myself.
Big B, the reason I use the word “primitive” in regards to fundamentalist Islam, Judaism and Christianity is simply because they are religions of the “book”. In other words, the book in question holds sway over the lives of believers and snuffs out independent thinking. You only have to look at fundamentalist Islam today to get an idea as to how dangerous this is. And you only have to look back in time to the “Dark Ages” to see how Christianity was just the same. A cursory reading of the Old Testament shows clearly that the “God’ revealed therein is a rather unpleasant being, and hardly a role model of good human behaviour.
I will concede that Jesus Christ challenged this status quo – with his “God is within” message, something the existing religious powers that be could not tolerate. And if you could separate the genuine words of Jesus from the dark foreboding of the “old” testament – then you may have something more enlightened. But the way things are now, I stand by my criticism of fundamentalist religion.
I find it very interesting that the people posting on blogs, who seem to have a better grasp of reality and what’s really going on in the World, are usually those who have a better command of the English language, basic sentence structure, spelling and grammar. David is one of these people, most Americans are not! Could it possibly be that those with more than rudimentary language skills are also usually better educated in other areas? What a terrible thing to say!
With reference to the whole Middle East issue, it helps to have a basic understanding of the history of the region and how all the various countries were formed, especially Israel. Most Americans do not. Simply go to Wikipedi and read about it.
Alternatively, as an aid to those unfamiliar with the process of navigating around the internet, here are a few links to help you on your way. I posted these on David’s SovereignLife forum a few months ago in a posting called REAL REASON WHY USA & ISRAEL WILL ATTACK IRAN
I hope I didn’t commit too many linguistic atrocities.
Happy researching!
Food for thought, don’t shoot the messenger!!

Sorry, I misspelled Wikipedia!
mr John:in your reply to what i stated, you obviously did not read what i stated,or in your haste to rebut my position, you have proven my point.i previously stated RELIGION,or the BIBLE,like the constituition can,and has been TWISTED,MANIPULATED,USED to justify, explain, and excuse some of the most barbaric, horrific, events known to man.As a matter of fact,it still goes on today, except now the weapons of war, technology etc that exist, are more dangerous/destructive than ever before.Humankind
as we know it,can be OBLITERATED with one push of a button! Here in america,we have so called MEN OF THE CLOTH,who openly claim race-mixing,is un-godly,that people of color are inferior to whites because GOD ordained it!recently you had a so-called PASTOR,calling for pres
obama,to die from brain cancer the same way sen kennedy did.Is that
GOD doing/making these false statements? No it is man, choosing to
REVILE,what the bible says.To david,i totally disagree with your assertion
that the belief in god, dosent allow for intelligent, open, fair minded discussion.after all, what are we now doing?lastly,to both JOHN/DAVID,
with all due respect,i think ATHEISM,and DARWINS theory of evolution,
are primitive,simple concepts.To believe that everything,we see in this world has somehow just EVOLVED,from a vaccuum,or pure NOTHINGNESS,if i can use such a term,is “primitive”In closing,i ask you
both since i assume,[correct me if im wrong]you not only dont believe in the existence of GOD,neither do you believe in the existence of SATAN”
or the DEVIL”as some prefer. If im right, then tell me what are the ORIGINS”of GOOD/EVIL,and explain how they have EVOLVED”into what they are today.
Big B, my argument with religion is that it is used to justify the worst of atrocities – throughout history. And it does this because any attempt to “prove” a God must obviously fail. So the matter of belief is a matter of faith, not logic. And when faith is the arbiter of human decision making, all sorts of things can go wrong – and have, as you illustrate in your own post. However, you call these actions aberrations – something that God would not approve of. My question is – who is to judge what is an aberration of faith/believe, when there is no objective standard by which to judge any actions taken in the name of that faith?
As to evolution. I know that a significant number of Christians accept it, and see it as part of “God’s greater plan” – so it would appear that the theory of evolution is not incompatible with belief for many Christians. Of course it is incompatible for fundamentalist Christians, who do battle with the teaching of evolution on a daily basis.
As to the origin of man, animals and nature, I don’t have an absolute answer. But it would appear to me that a theory of “intervention” by advanced aliens would have more going for it than the divine creationism that is believed by Christians, Jews and Mohammedans. But even that idea doesn’t answer the question of ultimate origins. I guess the universe just IS, in much the same way that God is purported to BE.
As to good and evil. I certainly agree there is good and evil in the world, and note that even good people are capable of becoming evil in various ways. However, as with my non-belief in a supernatural God, I do not believe in a supernatural Satan either.
Freeflight things are not always the way they seem. In fact, people who have a good grasp of numbers usually have a good grasp of logic. Language people tend to be found on the illogical end of the spectrum – journalists, ministers of religion, lawyers and politicians. In fact, in general, but not always, women tend to be better at languages than mathematics.
For many people English is a second language.
Just value freedom – and the right of individuals to think with their own heads.
David:You clearly have no answers, for the most puzzling, and profound questions, that humans struggle with, and yet you choose to deny, what should be obvious to most people.Like you say believe in god,is predicated on FAITH.I have never seen god/or jesus christ, nor do i know
anyone who has.But having said that, there is a method to this madness,we know as LIFE/DEATH,or as some people say “INTELLIGENT”
DESIGN”whether you want to admit it or not, take the fact, that the earth is 3/5THS WATER.You think this is mere co-incidence?another fact the
SUN,which is a ball of flames, that is placed exactly,93,000,000,000 [93 trillion miles]above the earth, you think this is a mere feat of evolution?
think about it,the sun if it was to come any closer to earth, all life as we know it,would be burned to death.Or if the sun went black,we then would
have a cold planet, and again all life would end.By the way i never used
the word ABERRATIONS”that is your word.I was just giving you a few
examples,of how MAN misrepresents GOD,and his word, which is the BIBLE.Truth is the bible gives,an explanation for all profound”questions in
life. However, thats the beauty of god,he tells you how you should live,
tells you what will happen,if you choose to lead,an un-holy or un-godly existence, but he dosent force you to do anything!you see this is the true
GOD”TEST”.Anyone,who tries to make you,or force you to follow”or “obey”a tenet,or commandment of god,is a fake,and a deceiver.
someone like these ANTI-ABORTIONISTS,who claim they represent god,
and the bible. Finally, these concepts,ATHEISM,NEW AGE ATHEISM,SCIENTOLOGY,DIANETICS,even books like the TORAH,THE HOLY Q”URRAN,ETC.These are all DIVERSIONS”created by the master of lies, satan.I KNOW you dont believe that, but think about it,why do we have all these different religions/books,when there is only one human race?there is only one sun,one moon, one world,or earth, and one CREATOR.Yet confusion abounds.remember, the truth bears no disguise.
Dear David,
I believe that your analysis re Iran is regretfully right on the mark. However, we probably should listen to politicians in order to understand their true intentions. Presently, we are being ‘softened up’ by these liars and the mass media to accept the inevitable, viz, a military expedition to protect democracy and freedom.
So, when you hear Obama, Brown or whoever tell the world: “we do not want war, we want peace,” then you know that the shooting is about to start.
By the way, do you know the difference between a prostitute and a politician? The prostitute does not sell her soul, just her body!
Yes, I have a much higher moral regard for prostitutes. At least they are offering what the market actually wants – at a negotiable price!
Dear Mr. B,
Apparently there seems to be a little confusion here. First I was not referencing you or your opinions but those of a person named Wayne, if you must know. Second I was not trying to rebut anyone’s thoughts or opinions for I believe everyone is entitled to speak their mind without worrying about repercussions or labeling. I am a strong proponent of free will and choice which also includes one’s right to believe in whatever they want to accept from this world.
Nevertheless, since you have taken it upon yourself to be critical of David and I about our view or understanding of the world around us, I will provide you with some clarification at least on my part of the road few like to travel on. But first allow me to express some insight as to how I view our current surroundings/world. Having experienced a consciousness outside of my physical form, I have come to realize that life is not restricted to what we have classified as the physical universe. My “inner” being has in time allowed me to perceive that our physical lives have secondary importance in the overall scheme of things and the sojourn into physical reality can be just another of many lessons to learn from. For all practical purposes one can say in simplest terms that the flesh is the prison of the soul/spirit or more precisely our photonic forms. This is what I have concluded through EXPERINCE not by some book(s), whether they are from religion, philosophy or the sciences. I knew at a very young age that religion did not have the answers I sought after and that the answers could only be found from “within”. If one takes the time to search for the truth, it will be found that the written word was and is still tampered or influenced by the hands of man. The truth as somewhat evidenced throughout antiquity was conveyed ORALLY from teacher to student so as not to corrupt the true/sacred teachings. What we have today for the most part, are revisions, editions and adulterations in the final works as given to us. If we are in a prison of flesh, would it not be appropriate to have a teacher or an unadulterated book instruct us to who we are, how we came to this prison and how to set ourselves free from it through personal experience? Since you believe in Satan and your belief system claims he is the ruler of this world, do you think lumpy would allow such a book to exist or a teacher like Jesus to remain alive to orally teach this truth? Keep in mind that Jesus and his followers did not author any book we are aware of as evidenced by the bible in your belief system. If you or your belief system accepts a one god or creator, is it not safe to say this one god is the author of both good and evil? If not than you must admit there is more than one god in creation. On the other hand, how do you know that this Creator is not the sum of all its parts?
You mention and compare the bible to the American constitution, whereas the only difference between them is the bibles prophecies. Interesting thought in light of the fact that both have been adulterated by the hands of man and the PTB. Is it not also possible what passes for prophecies has also been influenced by man and the PTB? If one goes as far back as Babylon the conditions which existed then are identical of the ones today minus all the technology. What passes for our history shows that the mind of man has not changed or more accurately that of the PTB. There will always be psychopaths who seek control of another or the world and evidence of this can be found throughout time. Seek further and one will find that most if not all of these psychopaths were conditioned by the various world religions under the control of the PTB to exploit the strategy of divide and conquer.
In conclusion, not being able to rationally confront the actual thoughts presented to you by David and myself, you try and label us as atheists and followers of the absurd theories of Darwinism. Last I checked there were no monkeys in my family tree. But if you must know I have descended from a photonic state of a higher evolution as yourself and hope some day you will EXPERIENCE this for yourself. One has to learn or come to the realization one is in prison before one can seek a means to free oneself from it. “and the truth shall set you free”.
World religions just make your prison more comfortable through vague terminology or ideological words like “faith” and “belief”, but they will never remove the prime ingredient called fear of what is beyond the prison if one doesn’t experience it before their time is up. In fact it is the conditioning of fear that holds and keeps the flock together within these belief systems and their prisons. Religions, nationalities, races and color for the most part, have no value beyond the flesh. They are only instruments of ones enslavement. From birth we are all taught or indoctrinated in thinking and believing what the world, through the PTB, wants us to believe. Isn’t it time to start thinking outside of the box or the cave as Plato described it?
David, you assert your criticism of “fundamentalist” religions and that suggests that you do not share the same criticism of “non-fundamentalist” religions. Would you care to defend you distinction on this matter. Without judging, it seems to me there is a major contradiction of so called “truth” luking out there. ………steve
Yes, I do make a distinction. A fundamentalist (Christian, Jewish or Islamic) is someone who believes literally in the “word of God” and takes it all very seriously – seriously enough to lay their life on the line. This type of belief is not normally open to reason, as it’s an “all or nothing” position. I know, because I was once a fundamentalist Christian myself!
On the other hand, there are millions of people who are nominal Christians/Jews/Mohammedans – who believe in general but also get on with their lives as best they can, and fit into society. These “believers” are much more amenable to reason and login and are much less inclined to take any form of drastic action in defence of their beliefs – like not killing abortion doctors, or not going on suicide bombing missions.
Of course, from a religious point of view, the fundamentalists are in fact the true believers – while the others are sitting safely on the sidelines. Thus it is true believers who show the true colours of any belief system.

I think you must have a damaged and warped perspective of Evangelical Christians. So quick to associate all with killing abortion doctors which nearly all abhor whild turning a blind eye to the death of 32 million babies by these abortion practitioners. Who are the radicals here?
I would recommend you focus on your areas of realtive expertiese such as off shore banking not theology……….
Actually, I’m not quite sure why religion came up in this topic – Speaking With Forked Tongue – as I didn’t mention it at all in my original post. However, to set the record straight – my main area of focus is individual freedom.
Offshore banking, asset protection and the like are strategies that can be used in the pursuit of such freedom. So my area of interest and focus is bound to touch on those beliefs and ideologies that can impinge on individual freedom.
Hmmmm, I’ve suspected something like this for some time, but now the cat is out of the bag. Here is the usual old bigoted gumpf about the villain Israel. It reminds me of how people in Europe used to say that something needs to be done about the Jewish problem, and then “solutions” were found in both Europe and the Arab world. People love to have a scapegoat, and nothing has changed. Goodbye.
