You can find stupid people anywhere. It doesn’t mean anything… just that they cherry picked stupid people for entertainment value.
Stupid people are everywhere and USA with a fairly high population will have a higher amount of stupid people than other countries. But its true that they dont know much about other countries of the world let alone their own country.
And the rest of the world wants to be like them??? Unbelievable.
That was too painful to watch.
Of course our population is stupid, that’s news? When you have a large population of fat, lazy, government education with entitlements then you get a stupid population. My ex is from Russia, and her 6th grade education is the equivalant to our 12th grade, and I’m not exaggerating.
I received a test that was given to 8th graders in the US back in 1885. I couldn’t believe it, without study I would have failed it. It’s when the government took over our education, and standards were lowered so as not to offend the children, that we became morons.
I have perhaps one friend who I can have a real conversation with, everyone else is concerned with non-sense.
Lastly, read the greats of old, Jonathan Edwards, any founding father, they may not be wise in some peoples eyes, but they were SCHOOLED.
well, I do have to admit that I have my problems with the US, but frankly if you did the same thing in the UK or Australia I certain you’d get much the same results. Indeed one should try to, and use exactly the same questions. So up until now only one country has so far been exposed to the average stupidity with that video.
I agree with Mike in a sense. But the way I see it is when you have “The fat of the land”, you don’t have to strive and learn as much. Since we have it much easier here financially, people don’t try as hard.
Jewish people are stereotyped as cheap, and money hungry. But that’s because they’ve been spread out into foreign lands, no safety net, so they try harder than others.
Interesting that I have many distributors of my product in the US, some of course do well, but I get a foreigner, especially one where there are not many opportunities, and they demolish their American counterparts, because they conduct their business as if they don’t do well, they don’t eat.
It’s like a great boxing champion, the second he no longer is hungry, he loses. When you are hungry you learn all you can, strive all you can, etc.
So I agree with Mike, you would probably see the same thing in UK or OZ.
This is scary. The “dumbing down” of America was and continues to be a very successful strategy.
